Saigonchildren is a UK-registered charity that has been working exclusively in Vietnam since 1992. Our vision is to eliminate poverty in Vietnam through education. PROJECT OVERVIEW
We are preparing to replace our current accounting software with QuickBooks to improve financial operations and management efficiency. To ensure a smooth transition, we are looking for an experienced consultant to support the project for a duration of 3 months.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the design and standardization of accounting processes aligned with QuickBooks
- Customize account structure, chart of accounts, and financial and management reporting setup
- Design, document, and standardize accounting workflows and procedures compatible with QuickBooks
- Assist with planning and execution of data migration from the old system to QuickBooks, including mapping, transformation, and validation of historical data
- Support the setup of QuickBooks features such as bank feeds, invoicing, expense tracking, payroll (if applicable), and reporting dashboards
- Develop documentation and training materials tailored to the organization’s processes
- Provide training for staff on how to use QuickBooks (basic functions and according to internal procedures)
- Provide ongoing support during the go-live period, troubleshooting issues and ensuring system stability
REQUIREMENTS
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting and/or management accounting
- Solid knowledge of Vietnam Accounting Standards (VAS) and familiarity with IFRS
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks is required
- Experience in financial system implementation, ERP upgrades, or data migration is a strong advantage
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to design scalable accounting processes
- Good communication skills; able to work cross-functionally with finance, IT, and leadership teams
- Attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset

WORKING MODE & DURATION

- Duration: 3 months (extension possible depending on project needs)
- Remote or onsite work (to be discussed in the interview)
- Working hours: Part-time or full-time options can be discussed
